Déjà les délégations étrangères font leur entrée. Harry se réjouit... Trop vite. Il va se trouver plongé au cœur des évènements les plus dramatiques qu'il ait jamais eu à affronter.

Après plus d'une centaine de commentaires sur ce seul septième tome de la saga Harry Potter, je doute que mon avis n'apporte quelque chose de nouveau au débat. Je me contenterais alors de commenter les différentes éditions du livre.

Depuis des années que je suis les aventures du jeune sorcier, il me tardait de découvrir le coffret que les éditeurs sortiraient pour regrouper les 7 livres.
Les éditions Gallimard se sont malheureusement arrêtées au coffret de 5 livres, et quand bien même, il est assez banal, simple, et décevant.
Les éditions Folio Junior quant à elles ont bien fait un coffret de 7 livres, mais ce sont des formats poche, et je n'apprécie guère cette édition du livre.

Déçu par les éditeurs français, je me suis tourné vers un coffret anglais, pour retrouver le petit sorcier dans sa version originale. Je n'en suis pas déçu, mais j'aurais préféré avoir également une version en français.

C'est alors que je suis tombé sur l' Edition de Luxe des livres ! Je viens d'en recevoir mon exemplaire du tome 7, et j'en suis ravi !
Le livre est magnifique ! Contrairement à ce qui est indiqué par Amazon, le livre est bien relié, et non pas broché (comme les livres format poche, couverture souple, ...)
La couverture rouge en carton rigide est en relief, une petite illustration sur la première de couverture, des inscriptions sobres mais élégantes sur le dos, et la tranche du livre dorée.
Un petit coffret vient protéger le livre. Il est en carton dur, de qualité, et résistant.

Depuis deux mois, depuis ma lecture du sixième tome, une chose me turlupinait. Je n'arrivait pas à retrouver le septième horcruxe. Je les énumérais, un par un les comptais, et toujours, un il me manquait. Maintenant j'ai compris pourquoi !!! La liste n'en compte que six !!! Je ne l'oublierai plus ... Jusqu'à ce que je l'oublie de nouveau, et là, il sera temps pour moi de relire toute la saga encore une fois (je ne les compte plus, contrairement aux horcruxes^^)

Bref, cela a été un réel plaisir de me replonger dans ce tome, a fortiori dans toute la série (merci encore une fois à Kayleigh pour avoir organiser la lecture commune des 7 tomes au fil de cette année 2011). De JK Rowling j'ai tout aimé : le style, l'imagination, les rebondissements. Je l'admire d'avoir réussi à maintenir le fil conducteur du premier au septième tome. Elle est cohérente de bout en bout et quand on pense que l'écriture s'est étalée sur plus de 10 ans, je lui tire mon choipeau ... Magique !

Cette fois, l'histoire ne se passe pas à Poudlard car Harry fait l'école buissonnière. Mais il a une bonne raison : il a une mission. Aidé de Ron et d'Hermione, il va traquer l'âme de celui-dont-on-ne-doit-pas-prononcer-le-nom. Voilà le fil conducteur de ce dernier tome. Cependant, comme à chaque fois, l'auteure va le mêler à d'autres fils accessoires mais tellement essentiels, donnant une fin en apothéose à cette saga. On va donc, pour ce faire en apprendre beaucoup plus qu'on ne voudrait sur la vie de Dumbledore, découvrir ce qui se cache derrière les reliques de la Mort, comprendre (enfin !

Livre à suspense et rebondissements ...

Le début m'a fait rire "humour noir biensûr" avec le père de famille qui a une vue propre à lui de la vie de famille, des manières et de l'éducation et sa femme qui se mange un "coup" à chaque fois de la part de son mari quand elle veut défendre son fils ou se mêler de choses qui ne l'a regardent pas (toujours selon son mari car c'est quand même la maman dans l'histoire mais bon ...) enfin voilà je sais pas si le but était de faire rire mais j'ai vu le scénario dans ma tête avec une touche d'humour noir !!!

Sinon l'histoire est très belle et très prenante, quand on la commence on ne la lâche plus et je trouve qu'au final tout se finit bien car le jeune héros de part la découverte et l'apprentissage futur de ses pouvoirs n'aura plus à endurer la terreur que lui inspirait son père ...

Aussi petit + pour les quelques dessins présents servant à planter le décor bien que je préfère toujours me forger moi-même ma propre imagination dans un un livre mais bon c'est jamais mauvais d'avoir une petite aide (un dessin vaut toujours mieux qu'un long discours) !!!
